This safari promises an unforgettable experience, where you’ll encounter majestic animals, breathtaking landscapes, and immerse yourself in the rich culture of this vibrant country.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive in Nairobi - Maasai Mara

Pick up from Nairobi by our driver/guide and get a brief introduction about the Safari. Leave for Maasai Mara which is around 5hours drive from Nairobi. On the way, have a chance to see the Great Rift Valley escarpments. Have a stop-over at Narok town for refreshments. Check-in at designated lodge in time for lunch. After lunch and refreshments, an evening game drive will be optional or relaxation at the hotel.

Maasai Mara is a large game Reserve known as the Africa’s greatest wildlife Reserve, situated in southwest Kenya and is part of the northern section of the Serengeti national park. It’s also known for the great wildebeest migration which happens in July to October each year and is 8th wonder of the world. Similarly, is a home of many bird species, reptiles and this is where you find the big cats and the big five (lion, buffalo, elephant, leopard and rhino) among other animals. Some of the lion prides have more than 20 individuals and the smallest pride will have 10 individuals if you are lucky.

 

Day 2 - Full Day Maasai Mara

After breakfast, proceed to the park for a full day game drive, having carried packed lunch so that you can have ample time to carry out a comprehensive game drive. Lunch will be taken at around 1pm in the wild, enjoying the breeze rushing over the wild oat grass. After lunch, continue with the game drive and head back to the camp at around 4pm. Dinner and overnight at booked hotel/ lodge.

Day 3 - Full Day Maasai Mara

After morning breakfast proceed to the park for a morning game drive, Later return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation at the accommodation then embark afterwards on an evening game drive at around 3pm till late evening at around 6pm. You might also choose to have a full day game drive on this day.

 

Day 4 - Maasai Mara - Nakuru

After an early morning breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National park that hosts the largest concentration of Flamingoes which canopy the edge of this alkaline Rift Valley Lake on their normal feeding patterns (Depends on whether the food chain is favorable during the season). The park also hosts Lions, Leopard, Giraffe, and Warthogs which you can get a chance to see if you are lucky. Lake Nakuru is also a rhino sanctuary. Arrive in time for lunch, check in the facility and relax for the lunch break. Afterwards, embark on an amazing afternoon game drive. Return to your accommodation lately by 1800 hours.

Day 5 - L Nakuru - L. Naivasha

After an early morning breakfast check out the facility and proceed to a morning game drive en route leaving the park by around 11am and depart for Lake Naivasha. The drive will take approximately 2 hours. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, Check in the facility, enjoy your lunch and proceed with boat ride at Lake Naivasha and hike in Crescent Island before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 - Naivasha - Amboseli

After an early breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park which is approximately 5hours from Naivasha. Arrive in time for lunch, check in and later enjoy an evening game drive. Return to the lodge at dusk lately by 6pm. 2 nights Amboseli Safari will give you a chance to explore the Amboseli National park at large. Amboseli national park lies at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro bordering Tanzania. The park is renowned for its large herds of African Elephants and many other animals including a number of the big five animals.

Day 7 - Full Day Amboseli Game Drive

After breakfast, you will have an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, one of the most popular parks in Kenya. On this day, you will have the opportunity to see Mount Kilimanjaro, also known as “the rooftop of Africa”, up close (if the weather allows). The park is famous for being home to Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, which is 19 341 feet (5895 meters) high. The park whose name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust” is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close.

Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulfur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. You will enjoy a hot lunch at rocky hill prepared by Sopa lodge as an experience before taking an exciting afternoon game drive or enjoy the activities at your accommodation facility and also choose to relax.

Day 8 - Amboseli - Tsavo West National Park

Alter breakfast, you will check out the facility and board your safari vehicle for Tsavo West National Park. Enter the park through Tsavo River Gate. Embark on a game drive after entry searching some of the big five in the vast Tsavo as search of the endangered black rhino and other animals.

 Tsavo is one of the largest national parks in Kenya covering an area of 9065 sq.km. Combined with Tsavo East National they together form one of the largest game park in the world. This is truly a wilderness outpost. The park is semi-arid and the landscape includes open plains, savannah bush, semi-desert scrub, acacia woodlands, numerous rocky ridges and outcrops and riverine vegetation.

Day 9 - Tsavo - Nairobi

Alter breakfast, you will check out the facility and board your safari vehicle to Nairobi. Driving to Nairobi will take around 6 hours. You will have a stopover for lunch on the way which you will be advised by the driver on the best place, at an extra cost. Arrive shortly in the afternoon, Check in at Sarova Stanley hotel and have a relaxed evening at the facility.

Day 10 - Full Day Nairobi

After breakfast, Start your tour with a pickup at 9:45am. The first stop is at the David Sheldrick elephant whereby it’s strictly open between 11 am and 12 noon for only 1 hour. Here you will be able to mingle with rescued baby and teenage elephants and learn their unique yet moving stories of how they got there, how they got their names and what plans are there to release them back into the wild.

You will proceed to the Giraffe center where you will learn more about the conversation efforts to conserve an endangered species and also get to feed them and take selfies with the Giant animals.

Thereafter, transfer to the airport depending on your flight timing.
